Hi, I’m Cara, author, editor, and writing coach with a lifelong love of literature, notebooks, and learning. Writing has always been woven through my life, sometimes as a form of therapy, other times as a way to let creativity run wild.
Along the way, I discovered that one of my greatest joys isn’t just in writing my own words, but in helping others bring their writing dreams to life. Whether that means building confidence, shaping a first draft, or guiding a manuscript all the way to publication, I love being part of that journey.
A little about me:
- I graduated in English Literature, with a soft spot for Shakespeare and J.M. Barrie.
- My debut novel, Three People, Three Countries, One Path, was the start of my author journey. I’m now working on a short story collection and the follow-up novel.
- I’ve been teaching creative writing for wellbeing for over two years, and it’s one of my favourite things to do.
- This past year, I stepped into the world of editing, completing training and currently working on several exciting projects.
When I’m not immersed in words, you’ll usually find me curled up with a book, sketching new ideas, or off exploring with my dogs.
This blog will be a space to share reflections on writing, creativity, editing tips, and the joys (and struggles!) of living a life surrounded by stories.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I’d love to hear your story too, so don’t be shy about reaching out or leaving a comment. After all, every great conversation begins with a shared love of words.
